The mission of our Aftercare Services team is to guide families through the first year after the donation by providing easy access to relevant resources, opportunities to share the legacy created by donation and to create pathways for making meaningful connections.
New England Donor Services is proud to present one medallion to each family in honor of your loved one.
Each donor family will receive a card from an Aftercare Specialist within the first 10 days of experiencing a loss.
In approximately six weeks after the donation, you will receive a folder that includes donation outcome information along with other helpful bereavement information.
Six months after the death, you will receive additional information to support you in your grief.
Although our program ends with the receipt of this card, our Aftercare services team remains available to you for as long as you need us.
