The mission of our Aftercare Services team:
To honor the legacy of donors, support donor families and recipients, provide opportunities for story sharing, and create pathways for connections.
New England Donor Services is proud to present one medallion to each family in honor of your loved one.
Each donor family will receive a card from an Aftercare Specialist within the first 10 days of experiencing a loss.
In approximately six weeks after the donation, you will receive a folder that includes donation outcome information along with other helpful bereavement information.
Six months after the death, you will receive additional information to support you in your grief.
Although our program ends with the receipt of this card, our Aftercare services team remains available to you for as long as you need us.
